Dianne Fussell, long time expert quilt teacher, who is based in Turangi, is to teach here in August. She has a super appliqué project which makes a wallhanging or bag. It is called “Deco Ladies”. It will be a whole lot of fun to have a go at creating your own version and there will be heaps of skills you’ll pick up as you sew. The wallhanging will take one day and if you want to make the bag a second day is required. The dates I’ve booked Dianne to come are Friday 17^th August (day 1) and Friday 31^st August (day 2). One day class $90, two day class $150.
